Ben & Jerry's is also situated just a mile away and tours are available year round. Antique and craft shops are close at hand. This turn of the century house, formerly owned by Dr. Ebenezer Foster-Eddy, adopted son of Mary Baker-Eddy, founder of the Christian Science Movement in the U.S, is now home to Innkeepers Sherry and Ron Howe. This room is equipped with a fireplace, cable T.V., VCR, Microwave and refrigerator for use by our guests. Breakfasts are served from 7:00 - 10:00 am. The buffet table is laden with juices, fresh fruits, homebaked sweet breads, muffins, bagels, toast, jams, cereals, tea and coffee. Hot breakfasts are our pleasure. Attached to the Guest Parlor/Breakfast room is the Carriage House which has been renovated into eight charming bedrooms, six with private bathrooms and two with shared bathroom facilities. The rooms are comfortably decorated in a true Vermont/Victorian style with comforters and quilts that enhance the atmosphere of this quaint setting.
