four days of superb classical music during the Stowe Summer Music
Festival.
In winter, Stowe is proudly known as
the Ski Capital of the East. Alpine skiing at Stowe Mountain Resort
on Mt. Mansfield, Vermont’s highest peak, and cross country skiing
at the Mansfield Touring Center or the Trapp Family Lodge Cross Country
Ski Center, America’s first ski touring center, provide
challenging terrain on excellently groomed slopes and trails to skiers of
all levels. Snow shoeing, snow machine rental and ice-skating are also
available. The Stowe Winter Carnival features many fun events
including family Village Night, Las Vegas night, snow golf and
Wintermeister ski and skating events for all ages and abilities.
Stowe is now also home to the Vermont
