Did you know Vermont has more breweries per capita than any other state in the country?
Known for their rich, craft brewed beers, Vermont breweries have been attracting visitors for
many years. Waterbury is centrally located for visiting most of the breweries in Vermont.
But it's not just breweries where artisans are crafting delightful drinks. Vineyards have been
a part of the agricultural landscape for many years and are now perfecting grapes that thrive
in this climate. The number of wineries is growing and forecasts say they want to make Vermont
known as much for wine as beer.

Fresh Tracks Farm produces award-winning wines from our 14 acres of vineyards. We are committed
to our wines, our vines and the environment. We produced our first wine in 2006 and are
continually fine-tuning our approaches to farming and fermentation in order to produce the
highest quality wines. Our Tasting Room provides an inviting place to relax and enjoy a glass
of wine with friends. Visitors can sample wines, browse through our products, or take some time
to stroll through the nearby vineyards.

The winery is off the beaten path with spectacular views. Close by is Cabot Creamery’s Visitor
Ccenter and Bragg Farm Maple. We do grape wines, but specialize in non-grape wines winning
numerous national and International awards: most recently; cranberry/Double Gold, Strawberry
Rhubarb/Gold, and Pear/Silver. The tasting room is conveniently just up the road from Ben &
Jerry’s at the tasty Cold Hollow Cider Mill.

We're located three miles north of Middlebury and 30 miles south of Burlington, just off Route 7.
We grow 12 acres of hardy vines, harvest grapes by hand, and make wine in the barn we built.
We're a family farm devoted to sustainable farming practices and the creation of new and
delicious wines. We're always happy to share with you what we're working on here. Stop by and
visit! Our tasting room is open every day through the summer and fall (check our website for
winter/spring hours), and the porch by the pond is a great place for picnics. We offer free
tastings of our award-winning wines, wine by the glass or the bottle, and local cheese to
accompany it. We recommend calling ahead for tours.
