Vermont State House
Guided Tours are available on the half-hour, free of charge, July through mid-October: Monday-Friday, 10:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M., Saturdays, 11:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. Group and school tours must be arranged by calling (802) 828-2228.
 

Vermont Historical Society Museum
The Vermont Historical Society is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of Vermont history. It is located near the State Capitol in Montpelier.

T.W. Wood Art Gallery
Located on the Vermont College campus in College Hall, the gallery features the paintings of Thomas Waterman Wood.

Hubbard Park and Tower

The Park was created through a gift to the City of Montpelier by John E. Hubbard in 1899. Over the years, other parcels have been added to the park which now consists of 185 acres and approximately 7 miles of hiking and skiing trails, picnic areas, a soccer and baseball field,  and an observation tower which offers spectacular views of the city from the highest point in the city.
